Qt/MacとQtRubyなるものを見つけた

昨日MacBookにqctなるQtで書かれたコミットツールを気まぐれでインストールしていたのですが、その時に興味を持ってQt云々について調べてみた。

Qtと言えばKDEで採用されているGUIツールキットとして割と有名ですよね。てっきりX11経由でしか動かないのかと思っていたのですが、どうやらQt自身はクロスプラットフォームのようです。

http://trolltech.com/developer/downloads/qt/macからDLできて、MacPortsからもqt3-mac,qt4-macというパッケージ名で存在しています。以前Qtを何かの拍子にMacPortsから入れたようなのですが、偶然Qt/Macを入れていたようです。
QtのAqua対応版という感じでしょうか。Qt使ってAquaなGUIアプリを書けるってのはちょっと魅力的かも。

QtRuby

Very complete bindings to both the KDE API and the Qt APIs. The Korundum package includes both a QtRuby Qt-only binding along with the full combined Qt/KDE one. The QtRuby package contains just Qt bindings with no dependencies on KDE.

RubyでQt使うためのライブラリっぽいです。これがあれば、Qt本などを買っておいて、C++な部分を全部Rubyで書けば同様なことができるようです。楽しそうだなー。
